Something like that would make planning where you conquer a bigger decision.

Maybe you would need an engineer or stewardship skill to rebuild them if they were in ruins? But imagine how cool it could be if you took say Lycaron and could restore the destroyed racing track for a loyalty buff to the settlement. The bonuses don't have to be massive but it would at least help grant a greater sense of pride for being awarded or conquering a city. Things like an Imperial Palace, a University, a Grand Temple, or Great Statue. This is likely for balancing purposes (there is already enough snowballing problems) but small unique landmarks that provide a passive buff in certain cities and castles would add a lot of flavor and sense of accomplishment. All of these could be used as Capitals for the faction or have special buildings with unique bonuses.įurthermore while the geography is nonsensical I do think there is a problem of locations not really feeling unique or important. That one Battanian settlement that was like a Holy City for them where their Kings are crowned. There are a few others, like Quaz held by the Aseri which has Carthage parallel. Pravend: Vlandians, The OG city founded and was capital of the empire for a long time. But still if you look at them there are several possible contenders for a god tier city.Ĭharas: Held by the Vlandians, was one of two founding colonies by Calradeos, the guy where we get the Calradian name from. Its near the middle of the Empire and is confirmed by dialog to be where the last Emperor Arenicos made his capital.Īccording to the encyclopedia entries The Calradian Empire never had a historic capital, the Emperor would choose their capital.

In the encylopedia entries Lycarion (held by Southern Empire) would be a great candidate for this. I made some comments in your cross post but I'll retread them here.
